While it can be easily enabled by anyone, there are trade-offs in functionality, including restrictions on attachments in Messages, limitations on FaceTime calls, and disabled features in Safari. Users can customize website exclusions within Lockdown Mode and can disable it at any time, requiring a restart of their device to revert to normal settings.
