A woman has alleged that she was quickly drawn into a relationship with a man who “love-bombed” her, leading to feelings of entrapment, isolation, and ongoing sexual demands. The man, whose identity is protected, is currently facing 33 charges of sexual and physical violence in the High Court at Whangārei, involving five female complainants. Between 2000 and 2015, he had consecutive relationships and fathered children with each of the women involved.
