North Carolina duo nabbed with enough fentanyl to ‘potentially kill 13K people’

In North Carolina, two individuals, Dustin McCurry, 41, and Kayly Allman, 33, were arrested for possessing a substantial amount of fentanyl sufficient to potentially kill 13,000 people during a traffic stop on April 30. McCurry had approximately 26.96 grams of fentanyl and drug paraphernalia, while Allman was found with 13.59 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Both were out on pretrial release at the time of their arrest and were not granted bond, underscoring the serious public safety threat posed by fentanyl.
