At least three people have died and nine are missing after a small boat, believed to be carrying migrants, overturned in the Pacific Ocean north of San Diego. The US Coast Guard is conducting a search operation, which includes a cutter and helicopter, after the boat, described as a panga, was found on the beach around 6:30 am. Four individuals were hospitalized, and it is reported that two of the missing are children; officials have confirmed that the passengers were migrants, not tourists.
