Deal to deliver aid to Palestinians nearly reached with by US, Israel

The United States, Israel, and a new international foundation are nearing an agreement to resume humanitarian aid delivery to Palestinians in Gaza, designed to bypass Hamas control. The initiative, led by humanitarians, aims to weaken Hamas by reducing its revenue and the population’s dependency on the group, with civilians receiving weekly aid packages from designated compounds. While the Israeli security cabinet supports the plan, the IDF will not be involved in aid distribution, as previous deliveries were often misappropriated by Hamas.
