A woman, Anneli De Los Santos, 50, arrived in Queenstown with family on November 3 to celebrate her daughter’s wedding but instead had to organize her sister’s funeral. During the trip, De Los Santos, who was driving with her sister Joyce Fesico, 59, as a backseat passenger, caused a crash by failing to negotiate a bend, resulting in her vehicle crossing the center line and colliding with a minibus carrying a family of five. The accident led to Fesico’s death and injuries to four others, marking a tragic turn of events for the family.
