Slovenian world champion Tadej Pogacar secured his third Liege-Bastogne-Liege victory by launching a solo attack 34 kilometers from the finish, finishing over a minute ahead of his rivals on the 252km route in six hours and nine seconds. Pogacar, who now has nine ‘Monument’ victories, outpaced Italian Giulio Ciccone and Ireland’s Ben Healy, who claimed second and third places, respectively. The 26-year-old’s impressive performance marks him as the first rider to podium in six consecutive Monument races, with a chance for a record seventh podium at the upcoming Giro di Lombardia.
