The Panthers had traded this pick, along with several others, to acquire the top pick in 2023, which they used to draft quarterback Bryce Young. Although Young had a rocky start to his career, showing improvement towards the end of 2024, the trade has been viewed as lopsided, particularly given the Bears’ successful acquisitions from that deal.
