A serious incident occurred at Hazlehead Academy in Aberdeen on April 24, 2025, when a 14-year-old girl was arrested and charged following an assault on a 12-year-old girl. Emergency services responded around 10:30 am, and the injured girl was taken to the Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital, where she has since been released. The 14-year-old will be reported to the relevant authorities, highlighting ongoing concerns about school safety following a separate stabbing incident involving a 15-year-old in east London earlier this week.
