Jets select Missouri tackle Armand Membou with No. 7 pick in 2025 NFL draft

Last year, the Jets bolstered their offensive line by drafting tackle Olu Fashanu 11th overall, and this year they continued this trend by selecting Missouri tackle Armand Membou 7th overall, marking their first draft pick under new coach Aaron Glenn and general manager Darren Mougey. Membou, who transitioned from basketball and soccer to football, excelled at Missouri, allowing only three sacks in over 2,000 snaps and showing promise as a right tackle despite some struggles against speed rushers. With a revamped offensive line, the Jets aim to support quarterback Justin Fields, who signed a two-year contract, and improve their running game.
