Samsung is enhancing its home appliances with the launch of the Screens Everywhere initiative, introducing 7- and 9-inch touchscreens called “AI Home screens” in devices like washers, dryers, and smart fridges. These screens, which function as Android tablets, enable users to control their appliances, run apps, and connect with Samsung’s SmartThings platform for a more integrated home experience. Although concerns arise regarding the practicality and longevity of replacing traditional controls with screens, the initiative aims to reduce inefficiencies and improve accessibility in household tasks.
