Austin mortuary employee arrested for allegedly ‘experimenting’ on corpses

A North Austin mortuary employee, Adeline Ngan-Binh Bui, 50, faces felony charges for allegedly experimenting on corpses and fraudulently obtaining death certificates. Bui is charged with abuse of a corpse and multiple counts of tampering with governmental records, dating back to August 2022, including claims of injecting formaldehyde into severed limbs. Capital Mortuary Services, where Bui worked, has been ordered to cease operations due to safety code violations, while Bui’s legal team asserts her innocence and commitment to due process.
