Hamas calls Jordan to release Muslim Brotherhood cell

Hamas has called on Jordan to release members of a recently arrested Muslim Brotherhood cell accused of attempting to manufacture rockets and drones with Hamas training in Lebanon. They defended the actions of the arrested youths as motivated by support for Palestine, asserting they do not threaten Jordan’s stability and appreciating Jordan’s stance against displacing Palestinians. Following the arrests, which revealed plans for rocket production, several members were reportedly released, while the entire Muslim Brotherhood in Jordan faces potential outlawing.
