GE2025: PAP's Poh Li San to contest newly carved out Sembawang West SMC

SINGAPORE: Former Sembawang GRC MP Poh Li San will contest in Sembawang West SMC for the upcoming General Election, a constituency recently formed after a boundary review. At 50, she previously served as part of the Sembawang GRC team and anticipates a challenging one-on-one race against the Singapore Democratic Party leader, Dr. Chee Soon Juan. The National Solidarity Party will not contest this seat, which has 24,153 voters, as Poh expresses her commitment to her residents despite the daunting electoral landscape.
