Israeli authorities denied Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa permission to visit Palestinian towns in the occupied West Bank, including Burqa, Deir Dibwan, Duma, and Qusra, which are facing attacks by illegal settlers. Mouayed Shaban from the Colonization and Wall and Resistance Commission stated that the refusal to coordinate the visit marks a “dangerous precedent,” following pressure from settlers on the Israeli government. This denial occurs amid heightened tensions in the West Bank, where significant violence has resulted in numerous Palestinian casualties since the Gaza war began in October 2023.
