Ricardo and Robert Morales, brothers who were separated after their father, a Cuban-American exile known as “Monkey,” was killed in 1982, reconnected online after over 30 years. Tragically, Robert, 57, was killed in a shooting on the Florida State University campus where he worked as a dining coordinator, leaving five others injured. Ricardo mourned his brother as a devoted family man who had recently undergone a kidney transplant and had been battling health issues, emphasizing the pain of losing him in such violent circumstances.
