Man found dead after falling into river near Wairere Falls, Waikato
A man who went missing near Wairere Falls, northeast of Matamata, has been found deceased by police and search and rescue staff. Witnesses reported seeing him fall into the fast-moving river while walking the Wairere Falls track around 11:50 am.
