Protests Against Trump Across the US

Thousands of Americans participated in nationwide protests on Saturday, dubbed “50501,” coinciding with the 250th anniversary of the American Revolutionary War. Demonstrators rallied against President Trump’s policies, particularly his handling of the deportation of Kilmar Ábrego García, and voiced broader grievances related to government efficiency cuts. While the protests, which took place in various cities including outside the White House and in Boston, were largely peaceful, they reflect a growing discontent as Trump’s approval ratings decline, particularly regarding the economy.
