Nikki Loffredo was shot dead by James Johnson as she was walking down a street

A mother in the US, Nikki Loffredo, was murdered by James Johnson, 43, after she rejected his catcall while walking in Des Moines, Iowa. Johnson, who was found guilty of first-degree murder, shot Loffredo multiple times, severing a critical artery, which led to her death in the hospital days later. Despite claiming he did not intend to kill her, prosecutors argued he sought out a victim to use his gun against, and he is scheduled for sentencing on June 20.
