BENGALURU: A man’s attempt to help a neighbor by discarding a trash bag turned into a nightmare when he discovered it contained a stillborn baby. The 17-year-old mother, a vegetable vendor, had secretly delivered the baby at home after concealing her pregnancy from her laborer parents and asked the man to dispose of the bag. Police arrested her lover for raping her, charging him under the Pocso Act, while the man who discarded the bag was allowed to return home after clarifying his involvement.
