Chinese robotics company Unitree is set to livestream a boxing match featuring its G1 humanoid robots, titled “Unitree Iron Fist King: Awakening!”, in about a month. A promotional video has been released, showcasing the robots sparring with humans and each other, highlighting their advanced movement capabilities, although they still lag behind humans in speed and fluidity. Unitree aims to enhance their robots’ boxing skills before the match, leveraging motion capture technology for improved control and lifelike movements.
