Israel Air Force intercepts drone from East en route to Israel

The Israeli air force intercepted a drone heading towards Israel from the east, as announced by the IDF on Friday. Shrapnel from the drone fell into Jordan near the village of Ma’in in the Madaba Governorate, igniting a fire; however, no casualties were reported, and local civil defense teams quickly extinguished the blaze. An explosion was also heard in the area, but no sirens were triggered in accordance with protocol.
