GE2025: Assoc Prof Faishal Ibrahim to move from Nee Soon to contest in Marine Parade-Braddell Heights GRC

Minister of State Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim will contest in Marine Parade-Braddell Heights GRC in the upcoming General Election in Singapore, moving from Nee Soon GRC where he has been a four-term MP. Potential candidates for Nee Soon GRC include former NMP Syed Harun Alhabsyi and former government ministry director Goh Hanyan, amidst introductions from both the PAP and opposition parties leading up to the election. Dr. Syed Harun’s resignation as NMP has raised concerns about entering politics under a political party after resigning.
