Mike Flanagan is adapting Stephen King’s Carrie for Amazon

After signing a TV production deal with Amazon three years ago, Mike Flanagan is developing a Carrie series adaptation from Stephen King’s novel, with Amazon moving forward on the project. Flanagan will write, showrun, and direct some of the eight episodes, while also executive producing with Trevor Macy. Actresses Summer H. Howell and Siena Agudong are in talks for the roles of Carrie White and Sue Snell, respectively.
