Teleconsultation duration not the only thing that matters, says MOH about MaNaDr's minimum 1-minute rule

The Ministry of Health reminded MaNaDr that the duration of a teleconsultation is not the only important factor, emphasizing the quality and adequacy of medical care. MaNaDr, which had its license revoked, introduced new safeguards requiring a minimum one-minute consultation before issuing medical certificates. MOH highlighted the need for quality assurance measures in teleconsultations, emphasizing proper clinical assessments and adherence to ethical standards, as well as addressing concerns about short consultations and the use of artificial intelligence tools to enhance clinical standards.
