Egypt and France signed a cooperation agreement to establish a plant for producing green hydrogen and its derivatives near Ras Shokair in eastern Egypt. The €7 billion project will be developed, financed, and operated by the Red Sea Ports Authority, the New and Renewable Energy Authority, and the Green Fuel Alliance, which includes EDF Renewables and Zero Waste. The facility will focus on the production of green hydrogen and ammonia, with three phases planned for completion.

Yemen’s Ansar Allah (Houthi) group announced it targeted the Israeli Nevatim Airbase with a hypersonic ballistic missile, claiming the operation was successful.
