Indian Navy guards against domination in Indian Ocean Region: Rajnath Singh

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh highlighted the Indian Navy’s crucial role in preventing domination in the Indian Ocean Region by nations with superior military or economic power. At a naval event in Karwar, Singh inaugurated infrastructure worth over ₹2,000 crore under Project Seabird, emphasizing India’s commitment to sovereignty, equality, and mutual respect among regional nations. He stated that the Navy ensures no nation in the IOR is allowed to dominate others, protecting national interests and sovereignty while upholding equal rights and responsibilities among friendly nations in the region.
