An 11-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital following a collision with a van in Edinburgh.
Officers from Police Scotland attended the incident which took place on Wester Hailes Road at around 5pm on Friday, April 5.
The collision involved the young pedestrian and a van, resulting in the boy being taken to hospital.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed: “Around 5.10pm on Friday, April 5, 2024, officers received a report of a crash involving a van and a pedestrian on Wester Hailes Road, Edinburgh.
“The pedestrian, an 11 year old boy, was taken to hospital as a precaution.”
