NASA experts briefly spotted the “city-killer” asteroid 2024 YR4, estimating it to be around the size of Big Ben. While the chance of a 2023 impact has been ruled out, further analysis suggests potential severe damage if the 130-300 feet rock were to hit Earth. The asteroid is expected to disappear in April, with a 1.7% probability of hitting the moon and a 1.1% chance of striking Earth in 2047.
