Israel killed 15 paramedics and rescue workers in Gaza, UN says

Fifteen aid workers, including eight Red Crescent medics and other Palestinian rescue workers, have been found dead in Gaza in shallow graves, a violation of human dignity according to UN officials. Israel claims they were members of Hamas and Islamic Jihad and were killed during an offensive. The International Committee of the Red Cross expressed shock at the deaths and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies reported that one worker is still missing. UN agencies are reducing staff in Gaza due to safety concerns, with a total of 408 aid workers killed since the conflict began in Gaza.
