According to the UK Youth Poll survey by the University of Glasgow’s John Smith Centre, two thirds of young adults in the UK believe social media should be banned for under-16s, with a similar proportion expressing concerns about the rise of toxic masculinity. The survey also revealed that young people are worried about the state of democracy in the UK, with many feeling that it is in trouble and too divided. Additionally, respondents highlighted issues such as immigration, racism, and the need for more open and honest politicians and young leaders.
