Just Stop Oil, a climate action group known for disruptive direct action tactics, has announced it will disband at the end of April after achieving its goal of influencing government policy on oil and gas licenses. The group, born out of Extinction Rebellion, faced backlash for its road protests, including disrupting traffic on the M25 for over four days. Despite generating massive publicity, Just Stop Oil faced public opposition, leading to its decision to disband.
