Bangladesh Army chief General Waqar-Uz-Zaman has warned of potential terrorist attacks in the country within the next month, urging increased vigilance. He highlighted rising extremism concerns in Bangladesh during a meeting with US senators and emphasized the need to address visible crimes decisively. Additionally, a consignment of 11,500 tonnes of parboiled rice from India has arrived at Chattogram port as part of a larger contract for 450,000 tonnes to be imported in phases.
