Venezuela Accepts Flight Carrying Deportees From U.S. for First Time in Weeks

The Trump administration sent a deportation flight to Venezuela on Sunday, marking the first such flight since an agreement was reached between the two governments. The Venezuelan government, led by Diosdado Cabello, has named the initiative the Return to the Homeland and agreed to resume accepting deportees following intense pressure from the U.S. government. The flight, carrying repatriated individuals, was coordinated through a transfer in Honduras and is part of a larger effort to address the issue of Venezuelan migrants.
