Man pleads guilty in pipe bomb attack on Salem Satanic Temple

Sean Patrick Palmer, 49, of Perkins pleaded guilty in federal court to using an explosive to damage the headquarters of The Satanic Temple in Salem. Surveillance footage showed Palmer throwing a pipe bomb at the building, resulting in minor damage, and investigators found a note urging repentance addressed to “Dear Satanist.” Palmer faces five to 20 years in prison, three years of supervised release, and a fine of up to $250,000, with sentencing scheduled for June 12.
