Central London van crash victim was a beautiful soul, her family says

Aalia Mahomed, a 20-year-old student at King’s College London, died in a collision on the Strand that also left three others injured. Described by her family as a “bright, kind and beautiful soul,” she was studying for a BSc in physics and philosophy. The driver of the van involved in the incident has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and drug-driving offences.
