The EU faces a new world order marked by adversarial relationships with Russia and China, alongside a complex dynamic with the US. It has three strategic options: emulate the US to project power, position itself as a bastion of globalization while engaging with strategic partners, or continue as a secondary ally of the US. Currently, Europe attempts to blend these strategies, but without a proactive and cohesive approach, it risks political fragmentation and marginalization, necessitating a shift towards a hard-power project that ensures its geopolitical autonomy and economic independence.
