A nine-vehicle crash in Uxbridge resulted in a male being hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, according to Durham Regional Police. The male, whose age was not disclosed, was taken to a Toronto-area trauma center. The collision occurred on Regional Road 1 near Fowlers Road, leading to the closure of the road south of Fowlers Road for several hours.
