Michigan football lands only one player in ESPN's top 100 list

Michigan football has only one player, defensive end Derrick Moore, ranked No. 81 on ESPN’s top 100 college football players list, despite being the 2023 College Football Playoff champions. The Big Ten conference, however, boasts strong representation with 26 players, led by Ohio State’s top two players, Jeremiah Smith and Caleb Downs, while Michigan is the only preseason top 25 team with fewer than two players on the list.
