Targeting Uso’s injured midsection, Gunther ultimately secured victory with a sleeper hold, knocking Uso out and ending his reign at 51 days. This marks Gunther’s second title reign, having initially held the championship for 258 days before losing it to Uso, making him the first wrestler to hold the title twice since its introduction in May 2023.
