The Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association state tournament for high school spring sports has begun, with tennis brackets released and other sports to follow. Twelve Cape and Islands boys tennis teams qualified, led by Martha’s Vineyard at No. 2 in Division 3, while the girls’ teams include 11 qualifiers, with St. John Paul II as the top seed in Division 3. Upcoming matches include several Round of 32 games for both boys and girls tennis scheduled from May 27 to May 31, featuring key matchups like Sturgis West vs. Seekonk and Cape Cod Academy vs. Pembroke.
