On May 30, four baseball teams won Section 4 titles, including Elmira Notre Dame, which triumphed in a high-scoring Class D final against Schenevus, 20-14, marking their first title since 1998. Elmira High School (AAA), Maine-Endwell (A), and Deposit-Hancock (C) also secured championships, with Deposit-Hancock continuing their undefeated season by defeating Trumansburg, 11-3. Notre Dame and Elmira will advance to state quarterfinals on June 7, aiming to build on their successful runs.
