Kechaun Bennett, a former four-star edge rusher for Michigan football, has entered the transfer portal after struggling to find significant playing time since joining the team in 2021. Despite showcasing his potential with three tackles, including 1.5 for loss in the spring game, he only recorded four tackles across four games during the 2024 season. With his departure, the Wolverines are expected to rely on younger edge rushers like Devon Baxter, Lugard Edokpayi, and incoming freshman Nate Marshall.
