Two children were hospitalized after a serious crash in Wellsford, north of Auckland. The incident occurred on State Highway 1, which is currently closed between SH16 and Davies Rd. Emergency services, including three ambulances and a helicopter, responded shortly after 4:35 PM. Both children were reported in critical condition and were airlifted to Starship Hospital for treatment.
