Butterfield Acres Petting Farm in northwest Calgary has been ordered to close after nine cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza were confirmed among its poultry. While the risk to the public remains low, visitors from Oct. 6 to 12 are advised to monitor for symptoms and follow public health guidance.
