7 dead as lorry falls into canal in Andhra Pradesh’s East Godavari district | Vijayawada News

At least seven individuals were killed in Devarapalli, East Godavari district when a lorry plunged into a canal after the driver lost control while avoiding a pothole. DSP G. Deva Kumar confirmed the incident, stating that all seven passengers on top of the lorry died at the scene, while one individual was rescued and taken to a hospital. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu expressed deep shock and grief over the tragic accident.
