7 Bowie County prison staff arrested for organized crime, contraband charges

Seven correctional staff at the New Boston state prison in Texas were arrested for allegedly engaging in organized criminal activity by bringing contraband into the facility. The arrests were made following an investigation by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, with charges including bribery, possession of marijuana, and engaging in organized criminal activity.
