A powerful 7.2-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Peru, injuring at least three people. The quake hit about 25 miles southwest of Acari, causing buildings to shake and sending residents fleeing into the streets. Fortunately, there have been no reports of major damage or casualties as a result of the earthquake.
