Liam Lawson moves to 14th after McLaren disqualifications in Las Vegas

Liam Lawson has been upgraded to a 14th place finish at the Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix after both McLaren drivers, Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, were disqualified due to excessive wear on their skid blocks. Lawson initially crossed the line in 16th after a collision on the first lap affected his performance. The disqualifications have significantly impacted the 2025 championship race, reducing Norris’ lead to 24 points over Verstappen and Piastri with two races remaining.
