Five soldiers lost their lives and several others were injured when an Army truck veered off the road and fell into a 300-foot gorge in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir. The accident occurred during an operational duty in the Gharoa area while the vehicle was en route to Banoi. The Army is conducting rescue operations and providing medical care to the injured personnel with support from Quick action teams of the Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police.
